Discover Plants of Taiwan
Dr. Ching-I Peng, Research Center for Biodiversity, Academia Sinica

ˇ@
Blessed with varied topography, great difference in elevation, favorable geographic and climatic conditions, Taiwan breeds diverse and abundant flora and fauna. Nearly 4,000 vascular plant species grow in Taiwan, a quarter of which found nowhere else.

We are now presenting an elegantly designed and fully illustrated 6-volumed ˇ§Discover Plants of Taiwan,ˇ¨ each covering facts on roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits, and seeds of selected Taiwanese plants. In addition, we have developed a multi-media website to facilitate nature education and to systematically introduce our indigenous plants. I wish you will enjoy our books and website (http://taiwanplants.ndap.org.tw). Your comments for improvement are most welcome.
